Neum√ľnster Abbey ( has played a key role in the history of Luxembourg. As well as its original purpose as a religious site, it was also later used as a prison by various foreign powers.

The building has since undergone a complete renovation, yet has retained its original charm and is today one of the most prestigious cultural centres in Luxembourg. The abbey has many impressive spaces spanning three levels and revolving around the yard and cloisters. The impressive architectural ensemble is used as a venue for concerts, ballet performances, exhibitions and conferences, as well as for permanent exhibitions and multimedia production. With a surface area of over 13,000 m2, including a large auditorium with 300 seats, modular rooms from 20 to 200 people and several refreshment possibilities, it is an ideal location for conferences in Luxembourg.
